Our Copyright Policy
It is our policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement, to remove or disable access to material we believe in good faith may infringe, and to terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, please report alleged infringement by sending us a written notice as described below.
How to File a Copyright Infringement Notice
To be effective, your notice must be in writing and must include substantially all of the following information. Incomplete notices may delay our response.
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are covered by a single notice.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it. Please include the exact URL or URLs on this site.
- Your contact information, including your full name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Where to Send Your Notice
Send your complete DMCA notice to our designated contact at strategylinkers@gmail.com. Please use the subject line “DMCA Takedown Notice” so we can prioritize it. Notices sent to any other address may not be seen.
What Happens After You File
We review every notice we receive. If your notice is valid and complete, we will remove or disable access to the material in question, usually within 2 to 5 working days. We will make a good faith effort to notify whoever posted the material that it has been removed or disabled, and we will forward them a copy of your notice.
Counter Notification
If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send us a counter notification. To be effective it must include substantially all of the following.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before it was removed.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your full name, postal address and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
If we receive a valid counter notification, we may forward it to the original complainant. The removed material may be restored if the complainant does not file a court action within the period allowed by law.
Repeat Infringers
Strategy Linkers will, in appropriate circumstances, disable or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers, and may limit access to this site for anyone who repeatedly infringes the copyright of others.
A Warning About False Claims
Please be aware that under applicable law, any person who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees. If you are not sure whether the material is protected by copyright, or whether the use is permitted, we suggest you speak to a lawyer before filing a notice.
Fair Use and Permitted Uses
Not every use of copyrighted material is infringement. Criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship and research may be permitted under fair use or an equivalent exception. We consider these factors when reviewing a notice.
